THE DIGITAL LOGBOOK

The Problem: “Shift handovers are dangerous. The Morning Shift write a note in a the Buku Log that the packaging machine was making a weird noise. The Night Shift Supervisor doesn't read it and the machine explodes at 2 AM. Production stops. Fingers are pointed. "I wrote it down, why didn't you read it?"

The Fix: A structured 3-minute digital handover.

  1. Input: At the end of a shift, the Supervisor answers 3 standardized questions (e.g., Machine Status? Safety Issues? Output Target met?).

  2. Evidence: Upload a photo of the final meter reading or a voice note of the issue.

  3. The Handshake: The incoming Supervisor receives it on their phone and must click "ACKNOWLEDGE" before they can start their shift.
